Stone village is in Bali, a fish village in the northern coast of Rethymno County in Crete. 32 kilometers far from Rethymnon at the East, one kilometer off the National Road to Heraklion, within a small cove with several beaches and a fascinating environment, it is found Bali a tourist resort with approximately 350 permanent residents.
The stone village consists of 37 apartments which are divided into 4 districts, in an area of approximately 10 acres. The materials are the same as the materials of the old Cretan houses, the walls inside and outside the apartments are made of solid natural stone, with wild asovantistes and unpainted surfaces. The floors of the apartments are almost all natural stone or wood. All apartments have fully equipped kitchen, Air Condition, TV, Fireplace, central heating radiator, wired internet and telephone. Pools The surroundings of the hotel has 3 swimming pools, children's pool area of approximately 40m and a depth of 0.60cm, a middle pool area of approximately 80sqm and depth of 1.40m. to 1.60m. and the large pool around 100sq.m and a depth of 1.60m. All pools are protected by parapets for safety reasons, mainly for children and they are closed during the night.In the beginning and in the end of the summer season, when there is a small number of customers, not all pools operate and in the winter all the pools are closed. Play Ground There is a play ground about 200 sq.m. with the appropriate equipment. There is also a small workshop producing raki, wich is used just in the right time. There is also a small traditional laboratory pressing grapes for wine which is only used at the time of harvest. Offers quick shopping for small needs but also with traditional Cretan products. All the above spaces included only for vacation packages or after agreement during arival. Gardens & Farm Our farm is located in a special shaped area within the hotel premises and has both greek and foreign species as donkeys, horses, ponies, a camel, goats, sheeps, hens... The children with their parents will have the chance to meet the animals to participate with our trained staff in their daily care as well as if they wish to have a free ride (without charge) in a safe place especially made for children. Also in a separate area we have the "Perivoli" (garden) with our vegetables organic farming. Do not forget! That the products coming from our garden and farm are consumed by our clients during breakfast such as fresh milk, eggs, tomatoes.... The farm has opening times depending from the season.
Breakfast Continental breakfast everyday between 8:00 and 10:00 in the morning. Restaurant The restaurant is open from 12.00 to 24.00. There is no buffet, there is standard menu and special menu days. All ingredients used are high quality and many of them like oil, wine, raki, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, etc. are from our own production. Pool bar Next to the middle pool and it is open all day.
